The 2012 Rachel Lee Memorial Scholarship is underway.  We are looking forward to reading the new essays.

The fitness course will be taken down and put into storage for the duration of the JR Briggs new school building process.

Rachel

At night when I lay in bed,

I think of a special angel just flying overhead.

Your radiant smile is brighter than the sun,

Wet or cold you are always having fun.

In the tree I see you climb,

higher and higher every time.

You sit at the table doing your art,

although your still young you are very smart.

Why  did you have to go?

I really don’t know.

Every night I look at the stars,

always wondering where you are.

Whenever I am sad and blue,

I look at the sky and I talk to you.

I know you are in a better place.

That’s just something I’ll have to face.

Rachel you were so pretty, smart and brave.

Every time I saw you I had to wave.

You were a great teacher and you taught me some things,

like never to be rude and to live like a king.

You will always have a place in my heart Rachel.
